YOUNG LEADERS

The Young Leaders Group exists to empower and connect members aged 18–30 across the Global Fellowship (GF). We create opportunities for young leaders to grow in leadership, serve within their regions, and contribute meaningfully to the direction and impact of GF.

Why We are here

We Bring Emerging Leaders Together

The Young Leaders Group brings together emerging leaders from across GF member organisations worldwide. We provide a structured platform for engagement, collaboration, training and representation. Membership is open to individuals aged 18–30 within GF member organisations. Regional representation ensures diverse global participation and alignment with GF leadership structures. The Young Leaders Group works in collaboration with EXCO and member organisations to strengthen youth engagement across the fellowship.

Our Purpose

Promote

We educate members about GF and promote GF events to increase awareness, engagement and attendance, share information and updates relevant to young leaders, encourage participation in global and regional GF activities, and increase visibility of youth-led initiatives

Provide

We create and facilitate opportunities for young leaders to interact with GF and other member organisations, leadership development initiatives, networking and collaboration forums, advising EXCO on matters relating to Young Leaders and Youth Empowerment

Perspective

We represent the voice of young leaders within GF structures. Provide feedback and ideas from a young leaders’ point of view, Organise and support virtual and physical events as agreed with EXCO, Contribute insights to inform GF strategy and programming

Dear Members,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Young Leaders community.

This group brings together individuals who share a common belief: that leadership is not defined by position or title, but by the willingness to take responsibility, inspire others, and contribute meaningfully to our communities. Each of you is here because you represent potential, ideas, and the energy needed to shape a better future.

As Chair, my goal is to help foster a space where members can connect, learn from one another, and collaborate on initiatives that create real impact. Our diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives is one of our greatest strengths, and it is through open dialogue and mutual support that we will grow both individually and collectively.

I encourage every member to participate actively, share your insights, support fellow leaders, and embrace opportunities for learning and service. This community thrives when each of us contributes with curiosity, integrity, and a spirit of collaboration.
